This Terms of Use & Service Agreement (the "Agreement") is a binding contract between you and Strive Education LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Strive," "we," "us," or "our"), and governs your access to and use of learnwithstrive.com and all related tutoring services, features, and content (together, the "Service"). It combines our terms of service, acceptable use rules, and disclaimers into a single document. Please read it carefully. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Strive is an AI-powered SAT and ACT tutoring platform. We provide voice-based AI tutoring sessions, diagnostic assessments, practice tests, study-planning tools, and related features. Strive is not an accredited educational institution and does not employ licensed educators. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Anyone under 13 may not create an Account and is blocked at sign-up. If we learn that an Account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete the associated data.
If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a Parent. By creating an Account, you represent that your Parent is aware of your use of Strive and has agreed to this Agreement on your behalf. During onboarding, users under 18 must check the following acknowledgment, which we log with a timestamp:
That logged acknowledgment is the consent record. A Parent may contact support@learnwithstrive.com at any time to review a minor's data, request its deletion, or revoke consent.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your Account. Keep your login credentials confidential and do not share them or let anyone else use your Account. Notify us promptly at support@learnwithstrive.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate Accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised or misused.
Strive offers three plans:
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. A price increase will not take effect until your next billing cycle after that notice period. Plan features may change over time; material reductions to a paid plan will be communicated in advance.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly, 6-month, or annual basis. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor; your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Strive. By subscribing, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and you authorize recurring charges to that method until you cancel.
Automatic renewal. All paid plans renew automatically at the then-current rate for the same term unless canceled before the renewal date. Monthly plans renew each month. 6-month and annual plans are charged as a single upfront payment for the full term and renew unless canceled at least 7 days before the renewal date. We will email a renewal reminder at least 14 days before any 6-month or annual renewal. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time as described in Section 7.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend paid features until payment succeeds.
You may cancel at any time from Account settings or by emailing support@learnwithstrive.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep full access until then. Except as stated in Section 8, we do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.
7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are unhappy for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial charge — no questions asked. This applies to Core and Pro on all billing periods (monthly, 6-month, and annual). Email billing@learnwithstrive.com with the subject line "Refund Request."
Outside 7 days. We review requests case by case and typically approve refunds for documented technical issues, medical emergencies, or accidental duplicate charges.
Chargebacks. Please contact us before filing a chargeback; we resolve disputes quickly. If a chargeback is filed, we may suspend the associated Account pending resolution.
The AI Tutor is powered by artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic). AI-generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Strive is not a substitute for a licensed educator or professional tutor. Score estimates and projections are approximations only and do not guarantee actual test performance. You are responsible for independently verifying any information you rely on for important decisions.
By using live sessions, you accept that the AI Tutor can make mistakes. Results may vary, and Strive does not warrant or guarantee any specific score improvement or outcome.
Strive uses an AI-powered customer service agent (the "CS Agent") to handle support requests, including account lookups, subscription changes, and refunds. Actions the CS Agent takes at your request are binding and are treated as if performed by a human representative. The CS Agent cannot change payment methods and does not provide legal, financial, or educational advice. If you believe an action was taken in error, contact support@learnwithstrive.com within 48 hours. Support conversations are logged for quality assurance and dispute resolution.
Every paid-plan user receives a parent code that allows a Parent to view progress data, session history, and subject accuracy. Pro users may also add a parent email to receive automated weekly reports. By sharing a parent code or adding a parent email, you consent to this data sharing. You may revoke access at any time by regenerating your parent code or removing the parent email in Account settings. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Our referral program awards one free week of Core or Pro access when a person you refer creates a new Account and purchases a paid subscription. Free weeks are applied automatically to your next billing cycle, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Self-referrals and duplicate Accounts are prohibited and forfeit all rewards. We may modify or terminate the referral program with 7 days' notice, and we may revoke rewards obtained through fraud or abuse.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended educational purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree not to:
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate offending Accounts without refund. We may also report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
You retain ownership of the information and responses you submit to the Service ("Your Content"), such as your answers, questions to the AI Tutor, and profile details. You grant Strive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and to provide it to you — including transmitting it to the third-party providers listed in Section 16. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train AI models. Your Content and personal data are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
All Content on Strive — including lesson content, question banks, platform design, prompts, and software — is owned by Strive Education LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated tutoring responses are produced using licensed third-party models; Strive does not claim copyright in purely AI-generated output, but the platform, prompts, structure, and design remain Strive's proprietary property. Except for using the Service as permitted here, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Content without our written permission. "Strive" and our logo are marks of Strive Education LLC.
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Anthropic (AI tutoring and support), OpenAI (text-to-speech voice), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database hosting), and Render (server and web hosting). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers, and their availability is outside our control.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described there.
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. STRIVE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY EDUCATIONAL RESULT OR SCORE IMPROVEMENT WILL BE ACHIEVED. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRIVE EDUCATION LLC AND ITS FOUNDER, OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STRIVE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Strive Education LLC and its founder, officers, members, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party. If you are a Parent agreeing on behalf of a minor, this indemnity covers claims arising from that minor's use of the Service.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute is not resolved, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES WITH STRIVE ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE PROCEEDING AGAINST STRIVE EDUCATION LLC.
This Agreement applies while you use the Service. You may close your Account at any time in Account settings or by emailing support@learnwithstrive.com. We may suspend or terminate your Account or access if you violate this Agreement or engage in conduct harmful to other users or to Strive. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive — including Your Content & License, Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution — survive termination.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect and will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with a change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement between you and Strive regarding the Service and supersedes any prior agreements on that subject.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted.
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
You may not assign this Agreement without our written consent. We may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party providers, network failures, or acts of God.
We may provide notices to you by email or by posting them on the Service. You may send notices to us at hello@learnwithstrive.com.
