Welcome to Strive. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Strive is an AI-powered SAT and ACT tutoring platform operated by Strive LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. We provide voice-based AI tutoring sessions, diagnostic assessments, practice tests, and study planning tools. Strive is not an accredited educational institution and does not employ licensed educators.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Strive. Users under 13 may not create an account and will be blocked at signup. We will terminate any account found to belong to a user under 13 and delete all associated data.
If you are between 13 and 17 years old, by creating an account you represent that your parent or legal guardian is aware of your use of Strive and has agreed to these Terms on your behalf. During onboarding, users under 18 must check the following acknowledgment, which is logged with a timestamp in our system:
This logged acknowledgment serves as your consent record. Parents or guardians may contact connor@learnwithstrive.com at any time to request account deletion or data removal for a minor.
Strive offers the following plans:
Prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Price increases will not take effect until your next billing cycle after the notice period.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly, 6-month, or annual basis. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. By subscribing, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided, and you authorize us to charge that method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
6-month and annual subscriptions are billed as a single upfront payment for their respective term (6 or 12 months) and automatically renew at the then-current rate for that term unless canceled at least 7 days before the renewal date. We will email you a renewal reminder at least 14 days before any 6-month or annual renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings or by contacting support at connor@learnwithstrive.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a billing period except as described in Section 6 below.
7-day satisfaction guarantee: If you are unsatisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial charge. No questions asked. Applies to Core and Pro across all billing periods (monthly, 6-month, and annual). Email connor@learnwithstrive.com with subject line "Refund Request."
Outside 7 days: Reviewed case by case. We typically approve refunds for documented technical issues, medical emergencies, or accidental duplicate charges. Email connor@learnwithstrive.com.
Chargebacks: Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We resolve disputes quickly. If a chargeback is filed, we reserve the right to suspend the associated account pending resolution.
Strive uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to power tutoring sessions. AI-generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Strive is not a replacement for licensed educators or professional tutoring. Score estimates and projections are approximations only and do not guarantee actual test performance. The AI tutor will never make absolute claims about correct answers or guaranteed outcomes — all guidance should be independently verified for important decisions.
By using live sessions, you acknowledge that AI tutors may make mistakes and that you are responsible for verifying important information independently. Results may vary. Strive does not warrant or guarantee any specific score improvement.
Strive uses an AI-powered customer service agent ("CS Agent") to handle support requests including account lookups, subscription changes, and refund processing. Actions taken by the CS Agent at your request are binding and treated as if performed by a human representative.
If you believe an action was taken in error, contact connor@learnwithstrive.com within 48 hours. The CS Agent cannot modify payment methods or provide legal, financial, or educational advice. Support conversations are logged for quality assurance and dispute resolution.
All paid plan users receive a parent code that allows a parent or guardian to view progress data, session history, and subject accuracy. Pro plan users may provide a parent email address to receive automated weekly reports. By providing a parent email or sharing a parent code, you consent to this data sharing. You may revoke parent access at any time by regenerating your parent code or removing the parent email in Account settings.
Strive's referral program awards one free week of Core or Pro access when a referred user creates a new account and purchases a paid subscription. Free weeks are applied automatically to your next billing cycle, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Self-referrals and duplicate accounts are prohibited and will forfeit all rewards. Strive reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program with 7 days' notice. Rewards obtained through fraud or abuse will be revoked.

Strive reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.
All content on Strive — including lesson content, platform design, and software — is owned by Strive LLC or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. AI-generated tutoring responses are produced using licensed third-party models; Strive does not claim copyright in purely AI-generated output, but the platform, prompts, structure, and design remain Strive's proprietary property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Your session transcripts and personal progress data remain your data, subject to our Privacy Policy.
Your use of Strive is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described there.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. STRIVE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRIVE LLC, ITS FOUNDER, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STRIVE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be heard in the state or federal courts in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES WITH STRIVE ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST STRIVE LLC.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. You may cancel before the effective date if you disagree with changes.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or conduct harmful to other users or to Strive. You may close your account at any time via Account settings or by emailing connor@learnwithstrive.com. Sections that by their nature survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Dispute Resolution — will survive.
