A great tutor changes everything. Now everyone can have one.

A private tutor costs $60 to $100 an hour, and even then they can't be there every time you sit down to study. Free apps just hand you a video and leave the rest to you.

Strive is a real tutor that's always there. It works through every problem with you, catches your mistakes, and adapts to how you learn, any hour you study, for less than the cost of one hour with a tutor each month.

How it works

From "where do I start" to test-day ready.

Three steps. No setup, no scheduling, no waiting for an opening.

1

Take the diagnostic

A short adaptive check finds your real starting score and the exact topics holding you back.

2

Talk through sessions

Hop on like a call. Your tutor works each problem out loud with you, on a live whiteboard, and quizzes you as you go.

3

Follow your plan

Every session updates your plan and drills your weak spots, so each day is aimed straight at your test date.

Why we built it

Made by a student who needed this.

Strive started with a simple frustration: the students who get tutors pull ahead, and everyone else studies alone. We built the tutor we wished we'd had: one that talks with you, meets you at your level, and costs what a student can actually pay. It's live now, and today's the day you can start.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Is this a real tutor or just a chatbot?

It's a voice tutor built specifically for the SAT and ACT. You talk out loud, it works problems with you on a whiteboard, catches where you go wrong, and adapts to what you miss. Much closer to a session with a tutor than typing into a chat box.

Do I need to pay to try it?

No. The diagnostic, your starting score, solo practice, and a study plan are free with no credit card. The live AI tutor is on the paid plans — Core and Pro.

How much does it cost compared to a tutor?

Core is $30 a month for unlimited sessions, less than a single hour with most private tutors, who run $60 to $100 an hour. Pro is $50 a month and adds longer sessions, essay feedback, and the full parent dashboard.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes. Cancel anytime and you keep access through the end of your billing period. Every paid plan also has a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Can my parents see how I'm doing?

Yes. A parent code gives view access to progress, and Pro adds a full parent dashboard with weekly email summaries.
